SOSTRA project

SOSTRA project is responding to the new EU Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning (2018) fostering the development soft skills. “Our societies and economies rely heavily on highly educated and competent people. Skills such as creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, intercultural skills, taking initiative and problem solving play an important role in coping with complexity and change in today’s society.”

By different joint actions the partners wish to find ways to support Adult Education and Human Resource actors in achieving a better understanding of the needs and importance of above described soft skills at work and in daily life and of their further development.

The SOSTRA project is innovatively intertwining digital and competence-based education into soft skills development in the field of European adult education. By modelling a digital open badge-driven learning process, the project introduces new ways to recognize prior competence and a unique opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge.

Six organizations from Finland, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain dealing with adult education and competence development are forming a project partnership wishing to develop and make Adult Educator’s soft skills visible.

SOSTRA project is looking for answers on questions:

Which soft skills are important for an Adult Educator in Europe?

How can an Adult Educator assess her/his soft skills?

How can an Adult Educator develop her/his soft skills?

How can she/he make the soft skills visible?

Orange Hill (OH) in Poland operates in the market of education and employees’ development.
